Jul. 7th, 2004 03:00 pmWell, work finally caught on, so no more cellphone. Cellphone all gone. *Sigh*
Not that I was using it for much anyway.
Can anyone suggest a good rate plan? I was thinking of heading for pay-as-you-go.

Date: 2004-07-07 01:41 pm (UTC)Well, I have never had a problem with them - I have been using Rogers for the past 5 years. They've been really good, and the roaming service in the US is excellent. During grad school, I told them I was *really* really poor, and they offered me all these flat rate plans that are never advertised (e.g. $10/month and $20/month). Right now I'm on the $20/month plan and it is more than enough for my needs.

Date: 2004-07-07 02:26 pm (UTC)I get employee discounts at Telus, but they appear to have gotten rid of the employee "friends and family" rate plans. However, since you were looking at pay-as-you-go anway, I can get you the Kyocera KE424C Pay & Talk for $169 including a $50 airtime card ($30 off regular price, I believe).
There's much nicer phones in the Telus stable, but that's the Pay & Talk I can offer a special price on. :)
Cu,
Andrew
