OOh, that's one of my favourite pieces of Canadian Trivia.-! I think the connection is hard to make because Kiefer really looks nothing like his mom. Shirley's mostly a stage actor, and isn't as well known as Donald, so the connection is only readily apparently to geeks like me who like acting trivia AND political trivia.
