As a post-birthday, post-election resolution I decided to pay less attention to American affairs and more to Canadian ones, as it's better for my soul and my blood pressure. talisker has some excellent examples today (gender role reversal will make your kids gay! porn is like crack!) of why this is a good policy to pursue.

And I'm happy to report that Ashley MacIsaac is working with me on this. The boy is crazy, but he's my kind of crazy. We need more like him.

"I plan on having the largest gay wedding that Canada's ever seen," MacIsaac said. "And I'm trying to get a TV company to produce Who Wants to Marry Ashley MacIsaac as a reality show."

Now then, I have a lot to get done before I leave, so if you see me around today, please tell me to get back to work...

I don't like lumping people together, but jeez. How do these people always seem to find their way down to Texas? Or is it just that the rest of the southern States is quieter about its stupidity?
