So I'm sending my car to Car Heaven. They auction off your car to a recycler and give the proceeds to charity. They also let you pick the charity. I have 2-3 preferences but I thought I'd offer the whole list for your consideration, to make it fair. Help me out here -- who should I help out? Please pick one, and provide a rationale in the comments if you think it'll sway me.

Given the amount of stuff that is consistently leaving big cities and ending up in land fills somewhere, I vote recycling. Even though well over half of a car ends up being reused in some way or another I would still guess that a fair bit of it ends up filling up a truck heading to Michigan.
