electriclandI have received Christmas cards! I keep forgetting to post about this, because I put them down and they get lost in the giant mass of paper that is slowly taking over my entire floor (if I'm hit by a bus, tell them I had a plan for tidying up my living room, 'k?). mickeytor, mrs_cake, evilgoddss, and scapersuse -- also to gurudata and kanecool for the cool prezzie, which I plan to post at the office as soon as it is 2005. Some of my non-LJ relatives and friends also managed to dig up my address, which is impressive because I've been keeping it something of a deep dark secret.
I also found out why the downstairs neighbours' mail kept ending up in my box -- turns out it's a shared box and the other one belongs to the guy in the basement (guy in the basement? I keep learning more about my abode). So my growing irritation was unjustified, and I've put their mail back where it belongs, and we'll just have to hope that they actually take it at some point.
