crankygrrl and I watched all of the LOTR extended edition over three nights, and I've since become hooked on the special features which will clearly give me much to do for months to come. With J we watched Wimbledon (just the thing for a rainy Sunday afternoon) and Flight of the Phoenix (Dennis Quaid is looking remarkably shaggable although I had to stifle the part of my brain that was screaming "Dear God! Sunscreen, people! Sunscreen!"), and I saw Lemony Snicket with monkeycommando and S yesterday and then came home and watched my cheap DVD of His Girl Friday (the transfer is lousy, but really no worse than you'd get on TV, and I love it dearly so I don't care).

Resolutions: work sensibly, see a lot of my friends, go to the gym, hold dinner parties. I think I can handle those.

... not that I can't see them without you, duh.. I just associate the place with you now. Which is funny cuz I think we only saw one movie there together.
I like your resolutions. I never make 'em myself. New Year is an oddly arbitrary date for me... I'm still very much on an academic year-type schedule. I'll make resolutions in September.
