You know my modem problem? The one that I've been claiming has kept me off the Internet at home for a year and a half, until Daddy's kind loan of the laptop? Yeah, that one.

Turns out my ISP changed its configuration and all I had to do was change the bloody login name to my full email address instead of my old ID. Which I have now done. That'll teach me to pay attention when they spam me. (Of course, there's still the high-speed-at-work-not-at-home issue... still.) All this time, it's not the modem... it's not the incredibly long telephone wire... it's the freaking "@total.net" suffix.

Ay yi.

In happier news, cooked chicken curry. Yum. All hail Patak's Balti Curry Paste. Also, removed the dead salad mix from my fridge (can someone explain why it gets so much heavier when it's dead? Where is the extra mass coming from?).

This is all I feel like writing for now (think will mainly be sticking to laptop in any case, as can sit on sofa, plus keyboard isn't as irritating as this one). Work tomorrow, sigh.

Recognized this morning, however, that sense of impending doom is probably more due to PMS than to any actual external factor. Unfortunately I ALWAYS seem to have a sense of impending doom when I have PMS, but the other symptoms usually aren't severe enough to make me realize the problem.

S'okay then. You are forgiven. For those of us whose childhood memories form or love of Star Wars, the new movies (and the fact that they suck major ass) are an affront to the core of our very being.

Problem is that when your favourite movie from childhood is XYV, the sequel, prequel, remake whatever of XYV that they make 20 years later is going to be bound up in your memories and expectations. Since you have no memories and therefore no expectations, you are forgiven for enjoying AOTC.

Now, if you said you really liked...I dunno...Pearl Harbour...then I might think less of you...just ask Robin. ;]
