Addendum to previous post:

saw a Golden retriever (or possibly lab) puppy that couldn't have been more than 8 weeks old and a foot long on Sunday.

SO. DAMN. CUTE.

And fuzzy, and not altogether clear on this walking-on-the-leash thing. *melt*

My cousin has this whole elaborate theory about the underground economy of our neighbourhood, in which the currency is Golden Retriever puppies.

Sadly, I need a very non-allergenic dog... does Zoey make anyone itchy and/or sneezy?

she does NOT! Megdalen actually has The Allergy, & even she said that she didn't have any major issues. Dogs with short, fine hair are actually perfect for your allergy - WAY less dander.

Were you in Parkdale? There's someone in our hood with a golden puppy (we figure they got her for Christmas), and she's adorable. Her legs are way too long for the rest of her and after three weeks of walks, she's still resisting the leash.

I am rather tempted to steal her.

No, this was the Beaches. And this puppy hadn't even hit the legs-too-long stage yet; it was still in the I'm-a-tiny-ball-of-walking-fluff stage. (Somebody nearly tripped over it, but I just call that carelessness.)

But they are cute at all ages.

I remember my little fuzzy Sally - she was the cutest puppy EVAR. You will find none cuter, it is not possible. She was .... 4 months old? But very, very small. Big head, big paws, tiny tiny body.

don't get me wrong, she's still adorable (see above), but I dearly wish we had photos from that first day. She was terrified of the older dog. He was mean to her. She got him back, though :)
