It's not Thankful Thursday yet, but to offset the whining...

A Christmas card from pixel12 arrived yesterday.

I'm enjoying writing the column I'm working on even if I can't get it to make sense.

The weather is almost perfect right now.

I had a really good workout last night and my body thanks me.

I used up the last of the nasty Astro mini-yogurts. Instead, I bought tiny wee Gladware containers and decanted a large tub of yogurt into them. So cute.

I bought Pirate Booty in Dearborn (whereupon Cranky and I burst into song in the grocery store, causing rubberneck to try and pretend she didn't know us).

Also dark chocolate, which is now sitting on my desk, ready and waiting for an emergency.

I love my choir.

I got War for the Oaks signed by Emma Bull and told her that I love it dearly, and she said "Yeah, me too -- it's still my baby." Hee.

Holy crap for crap! Saw that very book today at the used book store I like to frequent (where I was buying the other two books of the Bitterbynde Trilogy! :)), thought about getting it, and put it off for "another time."

One of these days, I'm going to start listening to my instincts about books, too.

War for the Oaks is one of my favourite books. I'd lend you my copy but I now don't want to let it out of my hands. ;)

On a related note, Emma Bull became even cooler in my eyes (if that's possible) by saying that her favourite book is Persuasion. Hee.
