Well, I haven't needed its contraceptive benefits just lately. (I gotta get me a sex life.) But the predictability is AWESOME. I also lose less blood this way, which is pleasant. And the skin-clearing effects are also nice. Overall, I'm very happy!
Well unless my girl has suddenly gained some magical abilities, or sprouted some new bits, I won't need the contraceptive benefits. But what I wouldn't give for some predictability.

Jen and I were agreeing last night that it's a good thing we are both allergic to cats, else there would be imminent Crazy Cat Lady-hood in our futures. As it is we'll have to be Crazy Dog Ladies. But perhaps we'll be able to have own house, at least.
I'm actually glad you're pointing out the benefits. My doc just put me on them to cure some hormone-induced acne that's befallen my face of late. I haven't been on the P for 8 years! But yeah, you're right, there is that funky predictability to look forward to... Thanks! Made me feel better :)
