electriclandThings Accomplished Today:
- Wrote up list of things to do to one of our subsites, as discussed with the doctor yesterday. Updated accompanying information architecture map (I'm getting to be quite a pro in certain very specific areas of Illustrator).
- Passed on information to my boss about a conference happening this weekend, which is relevant to the above site and was suggested by the doctor.
- Brainstormed about a future site that keeps getting put further and further into the future.
- Gathered some material for something I may be able to talk about one day. As a result, read a lot of stuff I would rather not have had to read.
- Hugged my colleague on her first day back from winding up her mother's affairs in Iran, as she was in tears -- this may actually have been the most productive thing I did today. Argh.
Things Not Accomplished Today:
- Failed to finish 2 stories and start a third, all of which are meant to be posted Friday.
Additional Work Acquired Today:
- Got asked if I would like to work Saturday at the conference. GAH. Right now? No I do not. It's in Mississauga and it's Saturday. Can I say I'm busy?
- Mystery Project I Can't Talk About.
It's just possible that I am further behind now than when I got in this morning. Ah well...
