I'm reading cover letters and CVs.

Some of them are impressive. Some are... not.

I was going to post some friends-locked excerpts, but confidentiality paranoia stopped me. Sorry. You'll just have to use your imaginations. I just hope that the recent grad gets someone older and wiser to read over the next cover letter they send out, because... oh, honey. That is not the way to win friends and get jobs.

Have you included any paragraphs that insult 95% of the other practitioners in the field you wish to enter?

If not, you're probably OK.

I may get around to posting some later, when the paranoia wears off.
