I would say a little from column A and a little from column B... just took that test and got 165... and about half of the ones I got wrong I was utterly unsure about and about a third of the ones that I got right I was also unsure about. Tough test using arachic forms and stuff that simply isn't English, like Latin or French. BTW, thanks for making me feel stupid compared to you :P

I wouldn't dare to question the vocabulary police but with the way that language is constantly in flux, especially ours, how can any list ever test our true knowledge of such a language. For instance, things like OMG or LoL make perfect sense as text and may one day become part of our dictionaries but to some people they are nothing but a few random letters. In the same way certain older words are incomprehensible to us.
