Saw doctor. Got ultrasound report, once they faxed it to the right place. They didn't see anything exciting. (But I have three tiny gallbladder polyps! What should I call them?) [Edit: Microbiology is normal too -- not really an incredible shock.]

She's going to call the radiologist and explain my history and ask if they think we should follow up some more, and if I have any more pain, she'll refer me to a gynaecologist, but there seems to no immediate cause for alarm. Maybe it was just another functional cyst rupturing.

*shrug*

Anyhoo, nothing visibly wrong with me.

It's very dark outside all of a sudden. Apparently we're getting the remnants of Tropical Storm Arlene at some point. If it gets cooler, I'll be very happy.

I forgot to mention in this morning's email flurry that this is great news!

well, less great about the unexplained ouchiness. But good news, generally!

Thanks!

Functional cyst could explain the ouchiness, also the small amount of free fluid they saw. But who knows?

Silly body.

Is it ever!

I can't see more than a block out my window. Wait, scratch that, I can just make out City Hall.

But wow, the thunder and the lightning! (For which your icon strikes me as excellent!)

Nope, not gallstones. The report was very specific -- "no sign of cholelithiasis".

Just polyps. Tiny polyps. Three of them. The report was specific about that as well. ;)

Hope it cools off for you as well! Weather Network claims it's quite pleasant out here.
