Dear City of Toronto Water Dept.:

When insisting that payments must be made in person at such-and-such an address, it would be really great to tell me when you're open. Or failing that, to provide a phone number so I could call and find out.

Just a suggestion.

[Edited again to note that I tracked down an email address for them, since the only phone options are the emergency line and the education line. And because I'm only a passive-aggressive bitch in my head, mostly, I politely asked and suggested and did not snark. Sigh.]

Oh, ick, really? Peel Region lets you pay your water bill online. Far preferable!

Oh no, this isn't the water bill -- it's to upgrade the incoming water main service. (We could wait a year for our turn to come up, or pay to fast-track, which we're doing.)
