Just received this email:
Hi guys,For some reason the bucket and mop just make it perfect.
Having just gone to a fancy-dancy retreat, where it was determined that those responsible needed more information about mundane items, rather that just the need-to-know stuff, it was decided that I will provide updates on The House--which is what John and the lads call it.
Yesterday, the lads had crab quiche and salad for lunch. They laminated some plywood to build the support for the 3rd floor stair. (Laminated sheets of plywood evidently end up as a strong support.) John backed into a rusty nail (not at all serious) and went to get a tetanus shot just in case. When he came back, he found David balanced on his back on the rafters above said stair, while Dan cut and handed him pieces of wood for firring the rafters.
Today, the lads had tuna salad sandwiches. They completed the stairs. They are looking for an 8 inch lag bolt to make assurance doubly sure. They have stolen my bucket and mop. The lady who used to live there still gets mail there; one important piece about power of attorney has been forwarded.
Cheers, H
