House update: Tuesday

My aunt reports:

Gill and Stuart are over working away like mad. Dan was not here for lunch. Building inspector is coming.

Not much of a report today. Just as I was preparing lunch--which was going to be terrapin of veal-- [Hospital called. Private family medical details snipped. Not unexpected, not a crisis, but not great.]

Not so much cheers today.

Dan and David, while we're away--Wed through Saturday--please make yourselves at home in the house, if you don't want to go to a restaurant. Are hot dogs and hot dog buns. Lots of bacon in the freezer. Eggs upstairs and downstairs. Coke, beer and ginger ale.

Also, my dad reckons he's found some great deals on windows and doors (we sat down last night to tabulate the INSANE amount of variation between quotes), and also may have found a nice bathroom wall cabinet. All at New Canadians Lumber. They rock.
