Just got a call from my uncle. We have our mechanical permit! (He told them "Yes, of course we're keeping the original furnace and as much* of the original ductwork as we possibly can!") I'm to go pick it up.

This means we can do our ductwork, which means we can drywall, which means things can move! finally! I am so happy.
