House update: Friday

My aunt reports:

Today for lunch, Stuart, John, Dan, David and I had spaghetti carbonara, topped with chicken in a tomato, cream, vodka sauce.

Tin bashers were building main hot air and return ducts in the basement. Will be back on Monday. Stuart worked on the third floor. Bill worked mainly on the first floor finishing the section of firewall along the stairs and building the return ducts.

Dan and David tore down the room that contains the electrical service. And added many more pounds of debris burying the lilac tree. Will be ready for big dumpster next Thursday.

John fetched coffee, kept out of people's way and repaired section of plastic plumbing needed to be moved for the ducts. He did not get to use his new drill.

In a bid to break out of our small rut, Jen and I went to the Auld Spot last night and ran into my colleague, who had evidently had the same idea, and his wife. Good evening.

Others have been calling for photos -- it's definitely time -- as soon as I have some, I'll post some!

I know I've been to the Auld Spot, but for the life of me, I can't remember why. Though if you tell me where it is, I might remember, and then I'll be able to sleep at night. ;)
