House update: Thursday

In which progress continues.

My aunt reports:

For lunch today, John, Dan and I had gumbo. (The only use I know for okra.)

John tested the fan in Robin's bathroom and was considerably fooled by the Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter. But all is now well. The bathroom is edging towards completion, with vapour barrier and drywall. Of course, there are minor details such as fixtures, but they're relatively easy.

Bill worked on drywall sealant on the third floor, and it is also looking well towards completion.* Washer and dryer coming tomorrow.** John will work on vent for laundry room.

Dan worked on the sound insulation in Jen's bathroom and the drop ceiling.***

**Jen said Tasco called to say "We're calling to confirm delivery of the washer and dryer this Friday." She said "Great!" They were very surprised.
