House update: Thursday

No house update yesterday, but in a good cause. My aunt reports:
*This frightens me.
My dad is talking about going back to work on the House. He also confessed
to being somewhat intimidated by William. I can understand that.
For lunch today, Dan, John and I had grilled cheese, ham and
bacon sandwiches. John also wolfed down a half rack of ribs he had
barbecued last night. There was no report yesterday because Jen and I were
taking Tilde to the doggie oncologist, who seems to think it's going to be
all right.
Dan has been working on drywalling Robin's kitchen, almost finished.
John spent yesterday tending to the Ladykiller, which got a nail in a
tire. Since the perfect darling expires at the end of the month, he is
trying out Rube Goldberg fixes.* He is now connecting wires in Jen's
rooms.
William has drywalled most of Robin's hallway. (By the way, I was admiring
John's drywalling here yesterday (playing surgery nurse) and he said, "You
ought to see William. Drill never stops going.").
Cheers, Helen

Perhaps if I knew what KIND of Rube Goldberg device was at issue here...
