House update: Tuesday

My aunt reports:

Today for lunch, Dan, John and I had left-over cassoulet,
bread, cheese and meat.

Yesterday, sister Jane, John, Tilde and I went to put the truck in its
semi-final resting place in the junk yard. Excuse me. These days it's
labelled as 'Auto Recycling.' Tilde was in her princess outfit and I
carried her into the yard so she wouldn't get her feet dirty in the mud. A
VERY large dog came up to investigate. Complete with leather collar with
spikes and a big chain. I think it was a mastiff. The politically
incorrect term "junk yard dog" came to my mind. However, it was perfectly
calm.

Today, Dan worked on drywall on the first floor and William has been
working around the cold air vent on the second floor. John slacked off
(doing my income tax) and prepared for his class.
