For those of you that left a comment in my last post, I've finally gotten around to responding to them. Thanks!

I've decided to pretty much ignore the war news and it's doing me lots of good. I calmly turn to the comics and the Arts & Entertainment section in the morning. Maybe the sports pages. Maybe the editorial page. And fortunately we have an election on, so there's something else to distract me. This is a rather ostrichy approach, but it makes me feel better.

I have been posting sporadically of late. Ah well. I just gave myself a break by rescheduling all my overdue tasks so they're due on Friday, and now I'm going to the monthly pool tournament, so perhaps I will be a more relaxed and frequent poster for a bit.

crankygrrl made me a ficlet. This is exciting. I need to pull out my notes on that universe and find out what's supposed to be going on. I miss Danae...

I've limited my news intake to the intro of The National. That and CBC e-mail alerts. I figure when the world ends it will show up in my inbox.
