House update: Monday

My aunt reports:

Today for lunch John and I had left-over chilli.

Dan worked this morning, tidying up drywall on the first floor.

Ed, the incredibly active floor person, put a second coat of varnish on
the second and third floors, and started on the first floor kitchen. Jen
will be going in to discuss stain colours.

I have been remiss and did not report that last week Gill primed on the
third floor, while William mudded.

I forgot to report that he offered us a deal on our stairs, but we decided
we were too poor to take advantage. Sigh.
