I have a plan! I'm going to have a conversation with IKEA this afternoon,
and then we'll know where we are regarding the missing stuff. Because if
that cabinet is missing then so are some others! But you're still not
allowed to worry about them yet because it's my turn.

Well, at least you guys have a system.

oh, OK! Yay for a plan! And do let me know when it's my turn to worry.

It's still not your turn to worry, but do you think you might have,
somewhere, a list of the items we bought for your kitchen in the second
round? That is, the new things we ordered after we'd changed our minds.
There's the microwave cabinet, but I can't remember anything else.

Hmmm. The problem is the two moves since then. But I'll see if I can find

I was so organized at the start of this project. Sigh.

Yeah, I know. *sigh* Did you update your plan to reflect your new
design? Because if so, we could compare it to what we do have.

The microwave was really the main thing that changed. Before, I think I

-- hmm -- actually I don't remember what I ordered but I'm pretty sure we
changed all my wall cabinets afterwards! In the plan, I now have a 30"
wide spot marked "microwave" that goes over the oven, between a 30" and an
18" wall cabinet (both of which we have), but that's really all I know! I
think I might have got a shelf and a horizontal 30x15 cabinet to go
over it, but that could have been the old plan. I seem to remember
something about a horizontally-hung door, and I also have this feeling
that we discussed horizontal cabinets being vertical cabinets on their
sides, but I don't remember if that was in the old plan or the new plan
either. What did you get for your microwave? /blither
We definitely ordered me a side support to go between the dishwasher and
the oven. I think that got added when you were at Ikea, and I think we
decided they were those random white things in the basement, assuming you
got one too. (I wonder how they attach to everything else?)
Feet. Lots of feet. (Old? New? Don't remember.)
All the cabinets I ordered, aside from the microwave section, are there.
The two Varde shelves and the Varde twelve-drawer unit are there. The
counter is... somewhere... probably... I hope. I haven't counted my doors
and shelves and I don't know where the baskets for the cupboard next to my
stove would be, but they should have been in the original order.
Oh, and I forgot to check your dad's plan to see if that had any more
information than I do.
This probably isn't helpful.
