House update: Tuesday

My aunt reports:

Today for lunch, Dan, Dave, John and I had chilli and corn on the cob.

Dan and Dave drywalled in the front foyer, moved the stove, foamed a cold air return, and did work on the cold air return ducts. One was rusted. They need a small amount of more tin. Also did resilient channel.

John has gone off (actually, I still find him quite pleasing) to get wood and duct head.

Dan is pleased to report that no more safe-and-sound is needed.

My mother is currently under orders from her physiotherapist not to do any painting until the pins and needles in her arm clear up. She seemed mutinous but I told her I didn't need my house painted enough for it to be worth crippling her for life, and she saw the sense of that. I hope.

to be CAREFUL.

tell her horror stories about MY mom if you must!! Remind her that MY mom kept setting back HER recovery by overdoing it etc etc....
