it looks like a beautiful spot. i hope the dock building goes well. growing up going to 'down-east' maine we used to watch the natural aging process of the docks in the harbor. from shiny and new to beautifully worn; the wood becoming silvery grey. and then there was the encroaching seaweed and mussels. heh.

There was a biggish storm, and the water level is high this time of year, and the dock is quite old. I am reasonably confident that it wasn't their fault. ;)
