And those kids today! with their bad manners and their baggy pants and their nonsensical lingo! In my day we were polite to our elders, wore knickers, and if we said "23-skiddo!" we'd have our mouths washed out with soap! And that was before we had to crawl over broken glass barefoot through the snow to get water to make papa's morning coffee (which was really only mud in cold water, since fire hadn't been invented yet), which was before he killed us with an axe and then tossed our bodies off a cliff so that we could land on the school where we learned by G-d the three R's and read real literature by dead white men (who were all still alive back in the good old days)!
