Quelle weekend! I want to sleep for a week, but no.

Friday's house report from my aunt:

Today for lunch, Gill, Robin, Stuart, John, Mike and I had
five-cheese ravioli, with salad and garlic bread.

Today, Robin's furniture arrived in 2 5x7x8' storage bins. All moved.
William saved Dan from being nearly killed by the corner-unit-of-doom. It,
like the large horsehair sofa that formerly belonged to Jen, Val, and
Bunella Jones,* will never live to see another move.

William is working on Jen's archway.

John bought water.

The hollyhocks in the front garden are going to bloom.

Yours truly will be on a houseboat next week. Yours truly.

*This was the actual name of my great-grandmother. I
am tempted to inflict it on my offspring one day.

Friday afternoon I put my cupboard doors on my kitchen cabinets, although
I still have to do the fancy stay-where-you're-put supports for the
microwave cabinet. Then dinner and enormous Margaritas with

stilldeepwater and M. Saturday was the wedding. Sunday Jen and I
dragged our dehydrated, hung-over selves over to the house and primed her
kitchen, living room, and the rest of the dining room. Then we had naps
and watched the Portugal-Netherlands game, which she'd taped. What a mess.
