H&M: Sinking rapidly in my esteem

So I exchanged the shorts, no problem (for a pair in a slightly different style, similar colour, same price, good fit). I tried them on just now and noticed that the clerk forgot to take off the security tag... which presumably explains why I set off the alarm at Staples, although it does not account for why I DIDN'T set off the alarm at either H&M or World's Biggest Bookstore.

Gah. Back again tomorrow, I guess.
