House update: Friday

My aunt reports:

Today for lunch David and I had fusion: Italian pistou soup,
pekoras and samosas with red and green sauce garnish.

Dan and David steamed Jen's counter top, moved a cabinet in the bathroom
and took the stripe plates* off the old door frames. Dan is off to the
northern wilds.

John and Jen went to Ikea and bought stuff, including bed for Calypso.

who is Calypso?? Do we have a new fambly member chez les cousins?

oh, sorry, must explain the dramatis personae. Calypso is one of Jen's cousins on the other side of the family (i.e. she's Jen's cousin but not mine). She will be staying in Jen's old room while she goes to U of T. As you can see, she, unlike Jen, rates a new bed instead of the implement of torture couch. She is also the reason that Jen must -- must! -- move in this weekend. It's good to have deadlines.
