The order on my Friends page is all wacky. Ah well.
Last night I filed. Only twenty minutes' worth, but I found my organizer refills, which was the point of the exercise, so yay. I also finished sewing a disco penguin (they're really very cute) and addressed a couple more cards.
Holiday season is beginning in earnest and my days (and especially evenings) are starting to look quite booked up! Tonight: workplace holiday party although they call it something different. Dress: "Dressy business casual", with a note to add that the wearing of Crocs will earn you eternity on Santa's naughty list. Which I would have thought went without saying, but there you go. I'm wearing my new boots (first time!) with fishnets and my calf-length burgundy silk skirt, plus black sleeveless sweater with sequins and a jacket over the lot. I hope I look cute. The boots continue awesome.
Can only stay a little over an hour at the party, however, because I have choir practice. Tomorrow: taking the day off to receive Granny's furniture (etc.) out of storage, then choir recital in the evening. Saturday: parents' holiday party,
raithen's sister's concert (anyone else want to come?). Which... means I'll have to shop in the morning and on Sunday. Hm. Next week: my mum's concert is on Wednesday, and we're going to the Sing-Along Messiah on the following Sunday (the 17th) (yay!) (need to find my score). Plus several other birthdays, parties, I need a tree, I'd kind of like to bake...
*breathes* It's OK. I still have time to get everything done. Yup. I do. (It's not like I have THAT many people to buy for, after all! And I don't have kids.)
Many cards sent, although not all. (If you'd like one, there's still time! Sign up in the comments to this post.)
All in all, I am really not ready to deal with the program for next year's Stratford Festival, which arrived yesterday. Eep.(I'd link to it but their server seems somewhat overwhelmed.)
