electriclandHave just hung my apartment's first picture! In the hall at the top of the first set of stairs. It's one of my grandparents' prints. Nice bold black and white design, striking from the bottom of the stairs yet not trying to compete with the extremely blue bathroom next to it. I'm waiting for the paint on the adjacent wall to dry so I can finally put up some cork tiles. The excitement just doesn't stop around here!
In further proof of this, Jen is downstairs proofreading a book about tax. Every now and then I walk past and find a typo (if I have a mutant superpower, it's probably the ability to find typos from five feet away over other people's shoulders).
John came by this morning to pick up the air compressor and some fans to make Peking duck. Apparently there are six ducks hung up in a row in the laundry room -- quite a sight to behold.
I'm thinking about making some New Year's resolutions, or perhaps goals would be a better way to put it. Will let you know if I come up with any.
