(I just learned of its existence today. Apparently its first computerized incarnation is now a textbook case of bad interface design [PDF]: if you entered a dose of, say, 100 and then corrected it to 10, it would appear to make the change but actually carry on and give the patient a dose of 100 while the radiation tech went looking for the circuit breaker.)

In news unrelated to the subject of this post, I think I've reached a new low today in wishing to avoid real people, my email, AND the telephone. At least it means I'm getting work done.
