I forgot -- I also did mending while we watched Canada get smushed by Congo (sigh... although, yay to the kid that had to step in when our goalkeeper got sent off) and then the Tour de France on tape. So, one decorative button restored to a pair of winter trousers, one linen towel folded over to cover up the holes across the midline (it looks a little odd, but I figure hey, you have monogrammed linen towels that belonged to your grandmother, you keep those puppies going). Go me with the domesticity. Once I get all the mending done, I can use that basket for ironing! Whoopee! /sarcasm
