Two things:

1. Surely if ever there was a sign of the impending apocalypse, it is the $75 cardboard box open-ended toy that encourages imaginative play.

2. If you go to Amazon.com's home page and it senses your Canadian IP address (I'm guessing), you get a big badge that says "Shopping from Canada? Magasinez-vous depuis le Canada?" I am almost certain that "depuis" is not the right word in this context.

Oh, and 3. It is Friday afternoon and I want to go home.

you must be joking? someone finally figured out that kids are more apt to play with the box their parents' computer/fridge/stove came in than any toy they might receive at christmas?

I don't know if I should scream or applaud their business skills for finding a market of yuppies that would actually buy that for their child.

I know. It's a little hard to compute. What exactly is wrong with a traditional cardboard box and an Exacto knife? (Oh wait. You can't make money off them. Sorry, forgot.)
