Public service announcement
Apr. 24th, 2003 05:52 pmThis afternoon's rant has been removed from public view. Robin is feeling much better now, and is very sorry to have vented in what may have been, on sober second thought, a rather mean-spirited fashion.
To Flip: It's probably because I couldn't decide whether to rant or apologize.
Thank you, carry on.

Date: 2003-04-24 03:54 pm (UTC)Just wanted to say, in general, if I ever step over a line in any comments I make, let me know.
And yes, the reprimand could come in an LJ entry.

Date: 2003-04-24 08:44 pm (UTC)I've already acted like quite enough of a silly bitch over this nonsense... probably because I'm tired and it's been a long and stressful week and I just found out one of my colleagues who I consider a friend has resigned... etc. And the blindness isn't just on the outside of the posts -- they often tend to be pretty fragmentary, and generally are more for me than for you the reader in any case. That said, I stand by everything I said in the original post, including how I could have handled things differently (not that I've learned from it mind you).
Cryptic enough for ya?

Date: 2003-04-25 08:47 am (UTC)Which makes me feel like more of a buddinksy. Not understanding your smackdown comment/citation, but not concerned.
Crappy about co-worker leaving. As I understand it from people who have jobs, the imminent leaving of a workplace ally is very stressful.
On the upside, John Stewart said on the Daily Show, after running a clip of Mel Lastman ranting against the W.H.O.,
"You know, I was planning a trip to Toronto, but I hear their mayor is kind of a dick."
That should keep me smiling for a good month or so.
