On the one hand, 11 seems a little young.

On the other, anything that encourages boys and men to care about their appearance more? I say BRING IT.

I recently hit an epiphany in fighting with my youngest over his pants, and we discussed the definitions of "rise" and "ease" and whatnot, and have discovered that he wants a lower/medium rise jean with a loose fit through the thighs in order to be happy with the look and fit of his pants AND have me not wanting him to pull up his pants all the time.

I didn't even know these were terms until I was in my 30s, much less that there was actually a difference from one pant to another. There wasn't even a difference in pants available in boys jeans back in the day, I don't think.
