- I now live in a house with a Mini! Well... the Mini actually lives outside. Jen bought it, and we went to pick it up on Saturday. It is ADORABLE. I wandered the showroom and lot for what seemed like hours (they mostly only had apparel in teeny-weeny, which seemed unfair, but I got her a set of notebooks) and admired all the wee cars.
- I really want the Science Tarot deck. Unfortunately there is no ordering info (yet?).
- Last Wednesday (mainly thanks to this post) I decided I was fed up with my office configuration (monitor against window, back to door). Five plus years of people sneaking up on me is enough! So I went to Nicole and said "Can I move my computer?" (and she said "I wondered when you were going to ask!"). I share an office with two other writers; my desk is the one directly opposite the door. It's L-shaped, so I moved the computer to the other part of the L, meaning the door is now on my left and the window (with nice empty expanse of desk on which I can spread out when I need to) on my right. I also had to clear the sediment of years off my desk, which meant making space in my file drawer, which meant tossing files that aren't useful any more... it was an orgy of office improvement! And three working days later, I still like my office WAY more than I have in quite some time, even though the move team hasn't been by yet to move my keyboard tray.
- I also finally stuck some of Mary's drawings (left behind when she moved to Nova Scotia) on the wall. Various views of the bones, muscles, ligaments etc. in the shoulder. Quite fascinating and lovely, although perhaps not everyone's cup of tea, and extra appropriate because of my current fun with physio.
- Back to work. How are you all?

You said Mini and I thought Mini horse and got all excited! Not that a Mini car isn't exciting too!

Alas, no Mini horse (unless you count all my Breyer Stablemates from years gone by, that is... I must do something with them one of these days!). I guess the icon was kind of confusing...

Haven't been commenting much, btw, but I HAVE been enjoying all your riding posts!

I hope that no mini horse ever gets as small as one of those Breyers!!!

Oh good! I'm glad they're not boring everyone to tears :)

Pattern Language is a great book; I actually got it for Christmas this year. Maybe I should read through it again.
