Friday-night randomness

OK, in case you were alarmed, the day got better. But really.
Those of you wishing to be interviewed, I have finally posted your questions. Sorry 'bout that, I was out late last night and my work ethic finally reappeared today.
The invasion has started -- saw the first Ferrari while waiting for the bus (which was 15 minutes late) this evening. Red (do they come in any other colour?). Low-slung. Much admired by passing young men. Crept further and further into the intersection on the red, and roared off as soon as the light turned green. Gonna be solid Eurotrash up and down St-Laurent for the next week. Gah.
Steph's last day today and it finally decided not to thunderstorm after all. Drank loads of sangria in the courtyard in the back of Verandah (which used to be Cafe de Nuit). Traded scurrilous gossip and Melanie and I swapped tales of Hospital Stays We Have Known (hers are better than mine and she has more of them, but we did decide that she and I shared space at different times with the identical same old biddy yelling "Nurse!" all night long for no reason -- sorry if that sounds insensitive to the elderly, but you try it some time).
I'm always struck when I learn after hours who at the office can't stand whom. It occurred to me to wonder who can't stand me? There must be at least one person. God knows I have my annoying moments. Possibly there are lots of them and they're just too polite to let on.
Then we dispersed to our homes. Oh yeah, us single girls in the new millennium, it's a glittering world of home by 10 with a video. Going to watch mine now.
