snurched from classic_film: the AFI's Top 100 Heroes and Villains (50 of each).

Some interesting choices in there. I think Cruella de Vil deserves to be higher on the list... on the other hand, the Terminator made it onto BOTH lists, which pleases me.

My number 1 villain has to be Alan Rickman. So Hans Gruber should be wayyyy further up. Plus, he is unrivalled as the Sherrif of Nottingham! He's not even on there. Who made that list? Dammit.

Too bad Ripley's Game wasn't released in time for this list. I predict Malkovich's Tom Ripley will jostle, if not topple, Sir Anthony's Hannibal Lecter for top spot next year.
