final entry of the year...
Dec. 31st, 2002 06:17 pm1. Baby!

Find out which Discworld girl you are.
2. Beauty
Drove over to the Loblaw's on Broadview and the sky was so beautiful -- overcast except for some pale, pale blue sky at the edges, with red-gold sunlight lighting up the west and reflecting off the wet streets -- I parked and walked to Riverdale Park and just stood for a while, watching the reflected sun through the skeletal trees and the clouds and listening to the traffic on the DVP, which strangely enough made it all more lovely not less. Last sun of the year.
3. Bitchy moment
Had an encounter at a 4-way stop with someone who (a) was on my right and (b) arrived at the intersection first, but who nevertheless kept waving me through. Look, it's nice of you, but you HAVE the right of way, TAKE it. Otherwise it just messes people up. (And don't wave me on, then change your mind and roll forward, then stop and wave me on again, because it freaks me out.)
However, my rage was definitely all out of proportion. There's another resolution: I will keep working at not flipping out over ridiculous small things.
Happy new year, everyone. I love you.
