I think I need a sickicon, given that I've been sick for about 4 weeks of the new year. Grrrrrrr.

Went to Toronto Friday night -- hung out with [livejournal.com profile] crankygrrl and [livejournal.com profile] pixel12 at Fitzgerald's until far too late (well, [livejournal.com profile] crankygrrl left at a reasonable hour but the rest of us stayed). Saturday: Copenhagen with the parents at the Winter Garden (more on that later) then my uncle's 60th birthday party. Sunday: FLATTENED by cold, or flu, or whatever this is (possibly a whole bunch of different diseases complicated by asthma and allergies, not that I self-diagnose at all at all). Stayed an extra day in Toronto to try and recover. Came back on the train last night (luckily nobody was sitting beside me, I'm pretty sure they'd have been entirely grossed out by the number of Kleenexes I went through) and poured myself straight into bed. Ugh. I HATE this. I'd just got healthy again, dammit!

Don't worry, [livejournal.com profile] raithen, I'm pounding back the Kama Cazes. ;)

I want to leave early-ish. Just need to get SOME work done today.

Went outside to get lunch (minestrone and pasta from Euro Deli) and I feel a bit better. It's sunny and warm(ish) -- anyway, snow is melting all over the place.

I think the fact that I'm affronted by this cold shows how much I take my normal good health for granted. Hm. Anyway, sorry for the moan.

It ate my post. Not that it was worth much. I'll try again without the fear part.

I have forgotten how a cyclopentane ring bends, and also how to construct a decent sentence. I am a miserable failure in life. I think I shall go home soon.
