Hmm. Week is starting reasonably well (although crankygrrl was actually ON TIME at the coffee shop today, i.e. when I was just staggering out of bed -- the nerve).

Returned books to the library. Read this weekend: Beowulf (Seamus Heaney translation) and New Skies (anthology). Still have a stack, but may need to just cry uncle since the Month Of Torture Writing A Lot starts today.

Just heard from Car Heaven, they are picking up my car tomorrow *sniff* -- going over tonight for a farewell ceremony.

Puttered yesterday and didn't go outside (which means I didn't do laundry -- but I think I have just enough socks to make it). Dishes, muffins, took down Christmas decorations, changed sheets, etc.
