House update: Thursday

My aunt reports:

Hello all,
Today for lunch hooligans on own.

The tin-bashers think they may be finished by tomorrow. Have moved
furnace--which will entail some rewiring and replumbing. Nothing at all
major, John says. (Yeah??)

Stuart and Bill worked on drywall on third floor, including party wall.
Looking good. Did some cleaning. Dan and Bill worked on drywall on first
floor. Having done the nailing strips for days, Dan actually gets to build
something.

Jen is having a wall unit--which was a possible--because the duct spaces
will facilitate this delightful feature.

John bought more lumber, screws and a drill which is impact, snub-nosed,
and had some other special feature--at a very good discount. Still being a
gofer. (Also taught class.)

The unnecessary comma, is giving me fits.

Fortunately I'm not copy editing, just reading. But it, makes me twitch.

Gender stereotyping lives!

For girls, it's like the Pastel Fairy came and puked all over the page. For boys, it's a little different.
