Things that made me happy at lunch

1. Library books!
2. Illustration of supply and demand curves in action among the many hot
dog vendors in front of City Hall, where sausages inna bun cost $3 (as
opposed to the $3.50 they would run you in less competitive areas). Which
meant that I could actually afford lunch out of the $3.25 plus pennies in
my wallet.
3. There is a sign on the ground in the Peace Garden that reads: CAUTION
ETERNAL FLAME.

House update: Friday

My aunt reports:

Today for lunch, John and I had roast beef sandwiches with
watercress mayonnaise and tomatoes.

John has been building a hutch for Jen's cart. William is working on
windows. Plus ca change . . .
