Left work at 5 (insanely early, but there was really nothing going on), stopped in at Provigo for groceries, came home and stir-fried stuff because I was extremely hungry. Haven't stir-fried anything in ages (I hate chopping things most of the time) but this worked out well: I marinated some tofu overnight in soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar, garlic and ginger, then chopped up the last of the asparagus, some broccoli, mushrooms, celery, red pepper and green onions. Stir-fried it all in sesame oil and served over rice.
I feel much better now. (I've been quoting that line fairly frequently over the last week but fail to get any recognition on it. Shame.)
Damn it feels weird to be home this early. Good weird, but weird.

Date: 2003-06-02 11:37 pm (UTC)Stir-fry is great... whatever happens to be around you just kind of hack at it and throw it on in :) Seasame oil is perhaps the best oil I've yet tasted, use it for anything and it tastes so much better. :)
